Your Spirit within me has more power than I can ever even begin to explain. I have seen you walking with me; you have shown me through your Spirit working in me that I have capabilities to do things that I myself cannot comprehend. I find strength and courage not through my own flesh but through your Spirit which has overwhelmed me. Staring in a mirror, I no longer see the face that I have grown accustom to, but I see the face of my Savior. I cannot see and I may never know all that you have done through me, but somehow I know that by your power working in me, the world is not as it was. I find myself unable to step back into a life of normalcy and comfort because I now know the satisfaction of living only to bring you glory.  

“Even though our physical being is gradually decaying, yet our spiritual being is renewed day after day. And this small and temporary trouble we suffer will bring us glory, much greater than trouble. For we fix our attention, not on things that are seen, but on things that are unseen. What can be seen lasts only for a time, but what cannot be seen lasts forever.” (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

Whatever comes of the day, we find ourselves in harmony with one purpose: to bring glory to God. If this were not so, why would we seek to surrender ourselves to His will, to find His lost sheep, or to serve His Kingdom. How are we to wake if it not be for a purpose and what better purpose is there than to bring glory to the Father? We rest in trusting the Lord to give us the power to defeat our enemies. We find a peace, a certain joy even, in knowing that there is more to ourselves than what we can understand.   At the end of the day we find ourselves in perfect harmony and it is a beauty that surpasses this earth; A feeling of wholeness and peace that comes from being exactly where we are intended to be and living as though we were created intentionally.  At the end of the day we conclude that we can’t understand the ways of the Lord and for that we praise Him in all of His glory. For this life does not depend on our understanding, but simply our obedience. 

 “To Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20)

  1. Your written words breathe out the active and living Word of God working in and through you. The Spirit of Christ is now in communion with your spirit thus the light in the Way will start shining and reaching into the hearts and souls of others. To read you and find out about this brings extremely profound joy; it strengthens my trust in the Lord.

    It also reminds me of grace and adds on my gratitude towards Jesus, for His will and His plans were for us to meet somewhere along His Way. The meaning of this blessing in my life I still cannot put into words, but it has built on my trust in His guidance as we continue to daily surrender our everything to Him. Let the Holy Spirit lead you on and let us never look back, for His winds, His fire, and His water is our main food, both to receive and give.

    My feelings for you are strong and beautiful. My attempt to write them would only give you a glimpse. But I believe is our passion for Him what makes our hearts feel what they feel; the passion He gave and taught us first.

    As we were worshiping together I kept seeing the face of glorified Christ Jesus, as described in the book of Revelations: eyes of fire and some sort of sword (like a mix of thunder, fire, and water) coming out of His mouth. I felt you were looking for His face in your prayer too. Please continue to search for His face through prayer everyday. Search not only for “a hand” of God to help you through, but His face, so that His glory and His perfect will flourish in all your actions. This will benefit others as it fills you with His love.

    I am praying for you and the team everyday.
    So many things to say to you but even much more to pray for. Today is prayer service over here at my church; you will be in our prayers for sure.

    I hope the flight went well (am sure), and I hope to hear from you some time when you have a chance. I have been singing the “Mighty to Save” song these days; please sing it when you get together over there as you remember me in your prayers : )

    I love reading your blogs and talking to your mom about what’s new with you! I’m still praying for you all of the time and don’t forget it! I’m glad things seem to be going so well and I can’t wait to hear tons of stories when you get back! God Bless!
